Here Dr. Balder presents a revision of a proximally "slipped" Realize Band (placed without the typical anterior gastropexy sutures to hold in the proper position). The slipped Realize Band is replaced with an Allergan AP Lap Band and a 2-layer greater curvature imbracation or inversion is placed to decrease the chance of recurrent "slip" in the future. I "invented" this concept a few years ago, and it has been very successful for revisions and now as a primary procedure as well.
